You Walk in the Truth
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 The elder to the beloved Gaius, whom I love in truth.1 The elder unto the wellbeloved Gaius, whom I love in the truth.1 From the church leader. To my dear friend Gaius, whom I love because we share the truth. 1 The elder to Gaius the beloved, whom I love in truth.1 The elder to the beloved Gaius, whom I love in truth.
 Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.2 Dear friend, I know that you are spiritually well. I pray that you're doing well in every other way and that you're healthy.2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.2 Beloved, I desire that in all things thou shouldest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospers.
 For I was very glad when brethren came and testified to your truth, that is, how you are walking in truth.3 For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.3 I was very happy when some believers came and told us that you are living according to the truth.3 For I rejoiced greatly, when brothers came and testified about your truth, even as you walk in truth.3 For I rejoiced exceedingly when the brethren came and bore testimony to thy holding fast the truth, even as thou walkest in truth.
 I have no greater joy than this, to hear of my children walking in the truth.4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.4 Nothing makes me happier than to hear that my children are living according to the truth.4 I have no greater joy than this, to hear about my children walking in truth.4 I have no greater joy than these things that I hear of my children walking in the truth.
 Beloved, you are acting faithfully in whatever you accomplish for the brethren, and especially when they are strangers;5 Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers;5 Dear friend, you are showing your faith in whatever you do for other believers, especially when they're your guests.5 Beloved, you do a faithful work in whatever you accomplish for those who are brothers and strangers.5 Beloved, thou doest faithfully in whatever thou mayest have wrought towards the brethren and that strangers,

 and they have testified to your love before the church. You will do well to send them on their way in a manner worthy of God.6 Which have borne witness of thy charity before the church: whom if thou bring forward on their journey after a godly sort, thou shalt do well:6 These believers have told the congregation about your love. You will do well to support them on their trip in a way that proves you belong to God.6 They have testified about your love before the assembly. You will do well to send them forward on their journey in a way worthy of God,6 (who have witnessed of thy love before the assembly,) in setting forward whom on their journey worthily of God, thou wilt do well;
 For they went out for the sake of the Name, accepting nothing from the Gentiles.7 Because that for his name's sake they went forth, taking nothing of the Gentiles.7 After all, they went on their trip to serve the one named Christ, and they didn't accept any help from the people to whom they went.7 because for the sake of the Name they went out, taking nothing from the Gentiles.7 for for the name have they gone forth, taking nothing of those of the nations.
 Therefore we ought to support such men, so that we may be fellow workers with the truth.8 We therefore ought to receive such, that we might be fellowhelpers to the truth.8 We must support believers who go on trips like this so that we can work together with them in spreading the truth.8 We therefore ought to receive such, that we may be fellow workers for the truth.8 We therefore ought to receive such, that we may be fellow-workers with the truth.
 I wrote something to the church; but Diotrephes, who loves to be first among them, does not accept what we say.9 I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.9 I wrote a letter to the congregation. But Diotrephes, who loves to be in charge, won't accept us.9 I wrote to the assembly, but Diotrephes, who loves to be first among them, doesn't accept what we say.9 I wrote something to the assembly; but Diotrephes, who loves to have the first place among them, receives us not.
 For this reason, if I come, I will call attention to his deeds which he does, unjustly accusing us with wicked words; and not satisfied with this, he himself does not receive the brethren, either, and he forbids those who desire to do so and puts them out of the church.10 Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.10 For this reason, when I come I will bring up what he's doing. He's not satisfied with saying malicious things about us. He also refuses to accept the believers [we send] as guests. He even tries to stop others who want to accept them and attempts to throw those people out of the congregation.10 Therefore, if I come, I will call attention to his deeds which he does, unjustly accusing us with wicked words. Not content with this, neither does he himself receive the brothers, and those who would, he forbids and throws out of the assembly.10 For this reason, if I come, I will bring to remembrance his works which he does, babbling against us with wicked words; and not content with these, neither does he himself receive the brethren; and those who would he prevents, and casts them out of the assembly.

 Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. The one who does good is of God; the one who does evil has not seen God.11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.11 Dear friend, never imitate evil, but imitate good. The person who does good is from God. The person who does evil has never seen God.11 Beloved, don't imitate that which is evil, but that which is good. He who does good is of God. He who does evil hasn't seen God.11 Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He that does good is of God. He that does evil has not seen God.
 Demetrius has received a good testimony from everyone, and from the truth itself; and we add our testimony, and you know that our testimony is true.12 Demetrius hath good report of all men, and of the truth itself: yea, and we also bear record; and ye know that our record is true.12 Everyone, including the truth itself, says good things about Demetrius. We also say good things about him, and you know that what we say is true.12 Demetrius has the testimony of all, and of the truth itself; yes, we also testify, and you know that our testimony is true.12 Demetrius has witness borne to him by all, and by the truth itself; and we also bear witness, and thou knowest that our witness is true.
 I had many things to write to you, but I am not willing to write them to you with pen and ink;13 I had many things to write, but I will not with ink and pen write unto thee:13 I have a lot to write to you. However, I would rather not write.13 I had many things to write to you, but I am unwilling to write to you with ink and pen;13 I had many things to write to thee, but I will not with ink and pen write to thee;
 but I hope to see you shortly, and we will speak face to face. (15) Peace be to you. The friends greet you. Greet the friends by name.14 But I trust I shall shortly see thee, and we shall speak face to face. Peace be to thee. Our friends salute thee. Greet the friends by name.14 I hope to visit you very soon. Then we can talk things over personally. (15) Peace be with you! Your friends here send you their greetings. Greet each of our friends by name.14 but I hope to see you soon, and we will speak face to face. Peace be to you. The friends greet you. Greet the friends by name.14 but I hope soon to see thee, and we will speak mouth to mouth. Peace be to thee. The friends greet thee. Greet the friends by name.
