Be Strong
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.1 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.1 My child, find your source of strength in the kindness of Christ Jesus. 1 You therefore, my child, be strengthened in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.1 Thou therefore, my child, be strong in the grace which is in Christ Jesus.
 The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.2 You've heard my message, and it's been confirmed by many witnesses. Entrust this message to faithful individuals who will be competent to teach others.2 The things which you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit the same to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.2 And the things thou hast heard of me in the presence of many witnesses, these entrust to faithful men, such as shall be competent to instruct others also.
 Suffer hardship with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.3 Join me in suffering like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.3 You therefore must endure hardship, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.3 Take thy share in suffering as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
 No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier.4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.4 Whoever serves in the military doesn't get mixed up in non-military activities. This pleases his commanding officer.4 No soldier on duty entangles himself in the affairs of life, that he may please him who enrolled him as a soldier.4 No one going as a soldier entangles himself with the affairs of life, that he may please him who has enlisted him as a soldier.
 Also if anyone competes as an athlete, he does not win the prize unless he competes according to the rules.5 And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.5 Whoever enters an athletic competition wins the prize only when playing by the rules.5 Also, if anyone competes in athletics, he isn't crowned unless he has competed by the rules.5 And if also any one contend in the games, he is not crowned unless he contend lawfully.

 The hard-working farmer ought to be the first to receive his share of the crops.6 The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.6 A hard-working farmer should have the first share of the crops.6 The farmers who labor must be the first to get a share of the crops.6 The husbandman must labour before partaking of the fruits.
 Consider what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything.7 Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.7 Understand what I'm saying. The Lord will help you understand all these things.7 Consider what I say, and may the Lord give you understanding in all things.7 Think of what I say, for the Lord will give thee understanding in all things.
 Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, descendant of David, according to my gospel,8 Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:8 Always think about Jesus Christ. He was brought back to life and is a descendant of David. This is the Good News that I tell others.8 Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, of the seed of David, according to my Good News,8 Remember Jesus Christ raised from among the dead, of the seed of David, according to my glad tidings,
 for which I suffer hardship even to imprisonment as a criminal; but the word of God is not imprisoned.9 Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.9 I'm suffering disgrace for spreading this Good News. I have even been put into prison like a criminal. However, God's word is not imprisoned.9 in which I suffer hardship to the point of chains as a criminal. But God's word isn't chained.9 in which I suffer even unto bonds as an evil-doer: but the word of God is not bound.
 For this reason I endure all things for the sake of those who are chosen, so that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus and with it eternal glory.10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.10 For that reason, I endure everything for the sake of those who have been chosen so that they, too, may receive salvation from Christ Jesus with glory that lasts forever.10 Therefore I endure all things for the chosen ones' sake, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.10 For this cause I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 It is a trustworthy statement: For if we died with Him, we will also live with Him;11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:11 This is a statement that can be trusted: If we have died with him, we will live with him.11 This saying is faithful: "For if we died with him, we will also live with him.11 The word is faithful; for if we have died together with him, we shall also live together;
 If we endure, we will also reign with Him; If we deny Him, He also will deny us;12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:12 If we endure, we will rule with him. If we disown him, he will disown us.12 If we endure, we will also reign with him. If we deny him, he also will deny us.12 if we endure, we shall also reign together; if we deny, he also will deny us;
 If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.13 If we are unfaithful, he remains faithful because he cannot be untrue to himself.13 If we are faithless, he remains faithful. He can't deny himself."13 if we are unfaithful, he abides faithful, for he cannot deny himself.
An Unashamed Workman
 Remind them of these things, and solemnly charge them in the presence of God not to wrangle about words, which is useless and leads to the ruin of the hearers.14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.14 Remind believers about these things, and warn them in the sight of God not to quarrel over words. Quarreling doesn't do any good but only destroys those who are listening.14 Remind them of these things, charging them in the sight of the Lord, that they don't argue about words, to no profit, to the subverting of those who hear.14 Of these things put in remembrance, testifying earnestly before the Lord not to have disputes of words, profitable for nothing, to the subversion of the hearers.
 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.15 Do your best to present yourself to God as a tried-and-true worker who isn't ashamed to teach the word of truth correctly.15 Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn't need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth.15 Strive diligently to present thyself approved to God, a workman that has not to be ashamed, cutting in a straight line the word of truth.

 But avoid worldly and empty chatter, for it will lead to further ungodliness,16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.16 Avoid pointless discussions. People who [pay attention to these pointless discussions] will become more ungodly,16 But shun empty chatter, for they will proceed further in ungodliness,16 But profane, vain babblings shun, for they will advance to greater impiety,
 and their talk will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus,17 And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;17 and what they say will spread like cancer. Hymenaeus and Philetus are like that.17 and their word will consume like gangrene, of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;17 and their word will spread as a gangrene; of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;
 men who have gone astray from the truth saying that the resurrection has already taken place, and they upset the faith of some.18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.18 They have abandoned the truth. They are destroying the faith of others by saying that people who have died have already come back to life.18 men who have erred concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection is already past, and overthrowing the faith of some.18 men who as to the truth have gone astray, saying that the resurrection has taken place already; and overthrow the faith of some.
 Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God stands, having this seal, "The Lord knows those who are His," and, "Everyone who names the name of the Lord is to abstain from wickedness."19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.19 In spite of all that, God's [people] have a solid foundation. These words are engraved on it: "The Lord knows those who belong to him," and "Whoever worships the Lord must give up doing wrong."19 However God's firm foundation stands, having this seal, "The Lord knows those who are his," and, "Let every one who names the name of the Lord depart from unrighteousness."19 Yet the firm foundation of God stands, having this seal, The Lord knows those that are his; and, Let every one who names the name of the Lord withdraw from iniquity.
 Now in a large house there are not only gold and silver vessels, but also vessels of wood and of earthenware, and some to honor and some to dishonor.20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.20 In a large house there are not only objects made of gold and silver, but also those made of wood and clay. Some objects are honored when they are used; others aren't.20 Now in a large house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of clay. Some are for honor, and some for dishonor.20 But in a great house there are not only gold and silver vessels, but also wooden and earthen; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from these things, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.21 Those who stop associating with dishonorable people will be honored. They will be set apart for the master's use, prepared to do good things.21 If anyone therefore purges himself from these, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, and suitable for the master's use, prepared for every good work.21 If therefore one shall have purified himself from these, in separating himself from them, he shall be a vessel to honour, sanctified, serviceable to the Master, prepared for every good work.
 Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.22 Stay away from lusts which tempt young people. Pursue what has God's approval. Pursue faith, love, and peace together with those who worship the Lord with a pure heart.22 Flee from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.22 But youthful lusts flee, and pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace, with those that call upon the Lord out of a pure heart.
 But refuse foolish and ignorant speculations, knowing that they produce quarrels.23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.23 Don't have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments. You know they cause quarrels.23 But refuse foolish and ignorant questionings, knowing that they generate strife.23 But foolish and senseless questionings avoid, knowing that they beget contentions.
 The Lord's bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, able to teach, patient when wronged,24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,24 A servant of the Lord must not quarrel. Instead, he must be kind to everyone. He must be a good teacher. He must be willing to suffer wrong.24 The Lord's servant must not quarrel, but be gentle towards all, able to teach, patient,24 And a bondman of the Lord ought not to contend, but be gentle towards all; apt to teach; forbearing;
 with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth,25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;25 He must be gentle in correcting those who oppose the Good News. Maybe God will allow them to change the way they think and act and lead them to know the truth.25 in gentleness correcting those who oppose him: perhaps God may give them repentance leading to a full knowledge of the truth,25 in meekness setting right those who oppose, if God perhaps may sometime give them repentance to acknowledgment of the truth,
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will.26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.26 Then they might come back to their senses and God will free them from the devil's snare so that they can do his will.26 and they may recover themselves out of the devil's snare, having been taken captive by him to his will.26 and that they may awake up out of the snare of the devil, who are taken by him, for his will.
