NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 Now there was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews;1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:1 Nicodemus was a Pharisee and a member of the Jewish council.1 Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.1 But there was a man from among the Pharisees, his name Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews;
 this man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, "Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him."2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.2 He came to Jesus one night and said to him, "Rabbi, we know that God has sent you as a teacher. No one can perform the miracles you perform unless God is with him."2 The same came to him by night, and said to him, "Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do, unless God is with him."2 he came to him by night, and said to him, Rabbi, we know that thou art come a teacher from God, for none can do these signs that thou doest unless God be with him.
 Jesus answered and said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God."3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.3 Jesus replied to Nicodemus, "I can guarantee this truth: No one can see the kingdom of God without being born from above." 3 Jesus answered him, "Most certainly, I tell you, unless one is born anew, he can't see the Kingdom of God."3 Jesus answered and said to him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except any one be born anew he cannot see the kingdom of God.
 Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born, can he?"4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?4 Nicodemus asked him, "How can anyone be born when he's an old man? He can't go back inside his mother a second time to be born, can he?"4 Nicodemus said to him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born?"4 Nicodemus says to him, How can a man be born being old? can he enter a second time into the womb of his mother and be born?
 Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.5 Jesus answered Nicodemus, "I can guarantee this truth: No one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit.5 Jesus answered, "Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born of water and spirit, he can't enter into the Kingdom of God!5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except any one be born of water and of Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.6 Flesh and blood give birth to flesh and blood, but the Spirit gives birth to things that are spiritual.6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit.6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
 "Do not be amazed that I said to you, 'You must be born again.'7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.7 Don't be surprised when I tell you that all of you must be born from above.7 Don't marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born anew.'7 Do not wonder that I said to thee, It is needful that ye should be born anew.
 "The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit."8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you don't know where the wind comes from or where it's going. That's the way it is with everyone born of the Spirit." 8 The wind blows where it wants to, and you hear its sound, but don't know where it comes from and where it is going. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit."8 The wind blows where it will, and thou hearest its voice, but knowest not whence it comes and where it goes: thus is every one that is born of the Spirit.
 Nicodemus said to Him, "How can these things be?"9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?9 Nicodemus replied, "How can that be?"9 Nicodemus answered him, "How can these things be?"9 Nicodemus answered and said to him, How can these things be?
 Jesus answered and said to him, "Are you the teacher of Israel and do not understand these things?10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?10 Jesus told Nicodemus, "You're a well-known teacher of Israel. Can't you understand this?10 Jesus answered him, "Are you the teacher of Israel, and don't understand these things?10 Jesus answered and said to him, Thou art the teacher of Israel and knowest not these things!
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 "Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know and testify of what we have seen, and you do not accept our testimony.11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.11 I can guarantee this truth: We know what we're talking about, and we confirm what we've seen. Yet, you don't accept our message.11 Most certainly I tell you, we speak that which we know, and testify of that which we have seen, and you don't receive our witness.11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that which we know, and we bear witness of that which we have seen, and ye receive not our witness.
 "If I told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?12 If you don't believe me when I tell you about things on earth, how will you believe me when I tell you about things in heaven?12 If I told you earthly things and you don't believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?12 If I have said the earthly things to you, and ye believe not, how, if I say the heavenly things to you, will ye believe?
 "No one has ascended into heaven, but He who descended from heaven: the Son of Man.13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.13 No one has gone to heaven except the Son of Man, who came from heaven.13 No one has ascended into heaven, but he who descended out of heaven, the Son of Man, who is in heaven.13 And no one has gone up into heaven, save he who came down out of heaven, the Son of man who is in heaven.
 "As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up;14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:14 "As Moses lifted up the snake [on a pole] in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up.14 As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, thus must the Son of man be lifted up,
 so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life.15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.15 Then everyone who believes in him will have eternal life."15 that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.15 that every one who believes on him may not perish, but have life eternal.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.16 God loved the world this way: He gave his only Son so that everyone who believes in him will not die but will have eternal life.16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whosoever believes on him may not perish, but have life eternal.
 "For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.17 God sent his Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but to save the world.17 For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.17 For God has not sent his Son into the world that he may judge the world, but that the world may be saved through him.
 "He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.18 Those who believe in him won't be condemned. But those who don't believe are already condemned because they don't believe in God's only Son.18 He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn't believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.18 He that believes on him is not judged: but he that believes not has been already judged, because he has not believed on the name of the only-begotten Son of God.
 "This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil.19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.19 This is why people are condemned: The light came into the world. Yet, people loved the dark rather than the light because their actions were evil.19 This is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil.19 And this is the judgment, that light is come into the world, and men have loved darkness rather than light; for their works were evil.
 "For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.20 People who do what is wrong hate the light and don't come to the light. They don't want their actions to be exposed.20 For everyone who does evil hates the light, and doesn't come to the light, lest his works would be exposed.20 For every one that does evil hates the light, and does not come to the light that his works may not be shewn as they are;
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 "But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God."21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.21 But people who do what is true come to the light so that the things they do for God may be clearly seen.21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God."21 but he that practises the truth comes to the light, that his works may be manifested that they have been wrought in God.
John’s Last Testimony
 After these things Jesus and His disciples came into the land of Judea, and there He was spending time with them and baptizing.22 After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.22 Later, Jesus and his disciples went to the Judean countryside, where he spent some time with them and baptized people.22 After these things, Jesus came with his disciples into the land of Judea. He stayed there with them, and baptized.22 After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he abode with them and baptised.
 John also was baptizing in Aenon near Salim, because there was much water there; and people were coming and were being baptized--23 And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.23 John was baptizing in Aenon, near Salim. Water was plentiful there. (People came to John to be baptized,23 John also was baptizing in Enon near Salim, because there was much water there. They came, and were baptized.23 And John also was baptising in Aenon, near Salim, because there was a great deal of water there; and they came to him and were baptised:
 for John had not yet been thrown into prison.24 For John was not yet cast into prison.24 since John had not yet been put in prison.)24 For John was not yet thrown into prison.24 for John was not yet cast into prison.
 Therefore there arose a discussion on the part of John's disciples with a Jew about purification.25 Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying.25 Some of John's disciples had an argument with a Jew about purification ceremonies.25 There arose therefore a questioning on the part of John's disciples with some Jews about purification.25 There was therefore a reasoning of the disciples of John with a Jew about purification.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 And they came to John and said to him, "Rabbi, He who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you have testified, behold, He is baptizing and all are coming to Him."26 And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him.26 So they went to John and asked him, "Rabbi, do you remember the man you spoke so favorably about when he was with you on the other side of the Jordan River? Well, he's baptizing, and everyone is going to him!"26 They came to John, and said to him, "Rabbi, he who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you have testified, behold, the same baptizes, and everyone is coming to him."26 And they came to John and said to him, Rabbi, he who was with thee beyond the Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, he baptises, and all come to him.
 John answered and said, "A man can receive nothing unless it has been given him from heaven.27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.27 John answered, "People can't receive anything unless it has been given to them from heaven.27 John answered, "A man can receive nothing, unless it has been given him from heaven.27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing unless it be given him out of heaven.
 "You yourselves are my witnesses that I said, 'I am not the Christ,' but, 'I have been sent ahead of Him.'28 Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.28 You are witnesses that I said, 'I'm not the Messiah, but I've been sent ahead of him.'28 You yourselves testify that I said, 'I am not the Christ,' but, 'I have been sent before him.'28 Ye yourselves bear me witness that I said, I am not the Christ, but, that I am sent before him.
 "He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom's voice. So this joy of mine has been made full.29 He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.29 "The groom is the person to whom the bride belongs. The best man, who stands and listens to him, is overjoyed when the groom speaks. This is the joy that I feel.29 He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom's voice. This, my joy, therefore is made full.29 He that has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices in heart because of the voice of the bridegroom: this my joy then is fulfilled.
 "He must increase, but I must decrease.30 He must increase, but I must decrease.30 He must increase in importance, while I must decrease in importance.30 He must increase, but I must decrease.30 He must increase, but I must decrease.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 "He who comes from above is above all, he who is of the earth is from the earth and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all.31 He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.31 "The person who comes from above is superior to everyone. I, a person from the earth, know nothing but what is on earth, and that's all I can talk about. The person who comes from heaven is superior to everyone31 He who comes from above is above all. He who is from the Earth belongs to the Earth, and speaks of the Earth. He who comes from heaven is above all.31 He who comes from above is above all. He who has his origin in the earth is of the earth, and speaks as of the earth. He who comes out of heaven is above all,
 "What He has seen and heard, of that He testifies; and no one receives His testimony.32 And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.32 and tells what he has seen and heard. Yet, no one accepts what he says.32 What he has seen and heard, of that he testifies; and no one receives his witness.32 and what he has seen and has heard, this he testifies; and no one receives his testimony.
 "He who has received His testimony has set his seal to this, that God is true.33 He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.33 I have accepted what that person said, and I have affirmed that God is truthful.33 He who has received his witness has set his seal to this, that God is true.33 He that has received his testimony has set to his seal that God is true;
 "For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for He gives the Spirit without measure.34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.34 The man whom God has sent speaks God's message. After all, God gives him the Spirit without limit.34 For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for God gives the Spirit without measure.34 for he whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives not the Spirit by measure.
 "The Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hand.35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.35 The Father loves his Son and has put everything in his power.35 The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into his hand.35 The Father loves the Son, and has given all things to be in his hand.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 "He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life. Instead, he will see God's constant anger."36 One who believes in the Son has eternal life, but one who disobeys the Son won't see life, but the wrath of God remains on him."36 He that believes on the Son has life eternal, and he that is not subject to the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides upon him.
