Man of Lawlessness
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him,1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,1 Brothers and sisters, we have this request to make of you about our Lord Jesus Christ's coming and our gathering to meet him.1 Now, brothers, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together to him, we ask you1 Now we beg you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to him,
 that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.2 Don't get upset right away or alarmed when someone claims that we said through some spirit, conversation, or letter that the day of the Lord has already come.2 not to be quickly shaken in your mind, nor yet be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by letter as from us, saying that the day of Christ had come.2 that ye be not soon shaken in mind, nor troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter, as if it were by us, as that the day of the Lord is present.
 Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction,3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;3 Don't let anyone deceive you about this in any way. [That day cannot come unless] a revolt takes place first, and the man of sin, the man of destruction, is revealed.3 Let no one deceive you in any way. For it will not be, unless the departure comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction,3 Let not any one deceive you in any manner, because it will not be unless the apostasy have first come, and the man of sin have been revealed, the son of perdition;
 who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.4 He opposes every so-called god or anything that is worshiped and places himself above them, sitting in God's temple and claiming to be God.4 he who opposes and exalts himself against all that is called God or that is worshiped; so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself up as God.4 who opposes and exalts himself on high against all called God, or object of veneration; so that he himself sits down in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
 Do you not remember that while I was still with you, I was telling you these things?5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?5 Don't you remember that I told you about these things when I was still with you?5 Don't you remember that, when I was still with you, I told you these things?5 Do ye not remember that, being yet with you, I said these things to you?

 And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed.6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.6 You know what it is that now holds him back, so that he will be revealed when his time comes.6 Now you know what is restraining him, to the end that he may be revealed in his own season.6 And now ye know that which restrains, that he should be revealed in his own time.
 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way.7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.7 The mystery of this sin is already at work. But it cannot work effectively until the person now holding it back gets out of the way.7 For the mystery of lawlessness already works. Only there is one who restrains now, until he is taken out of the way.7 For the mystery of lawlessness already works; only there is he who restrains now until he be gone,
 Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming;8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:8 Then the man of sin will be revealed and the Lord Jesus will destroy him by what he says. When the Lord Jesus comes, his appearance will put an end to this man.8 Then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will kill with the breath of his mouth, and destroy by the manifestation of his coming;8 and then the lawless one shall be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus shall consume with the breath of his mouth, and shall annul by the appearing of his coming;
 that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders,9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,9 The man of sin will come with the power of Satan. He will use every kind of power, including miraculous and wonderful signs. But they will be lies.9 even he whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,9 whose coming is according to the working of Satan in all power and signs and wonders of falsehood,
 and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved.10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.10 He will use everything that God disapproves of to deceive those who are dying, those who refused to love the truth that would save them.10 and with all deception of wickedness for those who are being lost, because they didn't receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.10 and in all deceit of unrighteousness to them that perish, because they have not received the love of the truth that they might be saved.

 For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false,11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:11 That's why God will send them a powerful delusion so that they will believe a lie.11 Because of this, God sends them a working of error, that they should believe a lie;11 And for this reason God sends to them a working of error, that they should believe what is false,
 in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.12 Then everyone who did not believe the truth, but was delighted with what God disapproves of, will be condemned.12 that they all might be judged who didn't believe the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.12 that all might be judged who have not believed the truth, but have found pleasure in unrighteousness.
 But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:13 We always have to thank God for you, brothers and sisters. You are loved by the Lord and we thank God that in the beginning he chose you to be saved through a life of spiritual devotion and faith in the truth.13 But we are bound to always give thanks to God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief in the truth;13 But we ought to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, that God has chosen you from the beginning to salvation in sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
 It was for this He called you through our gospel, that you may gain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.14 With this in mind he called you by the Good News which we told you so that you would obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.14 to which he called you through our Good News, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.14 whereto he has called you by our glad tidings, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
 So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught, whether by word of mouth or by letter from us.15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.15 Then, brothers and sisters, firmly hold on to the traditions we taught you either when we spoke to you or in our letter.15 So then, brothers, stand firm, and hold the traditions which you were taught by us, whether by word, or by letter.15 So then, brethren, stand firm, and hold fast the instructions which ye have been taught, whether by word or by our letter.
NASBKJVGWTWEBDBY
 Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope by grace,16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,16 God our Father loved us and by his kindness gave us everlasting encouragement and good hope. Together with our Lord Jesus Christ, 16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace,16 But our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us, and given us eternal consolation and good hope by grace,
 comfort and strengthen your hearts in every good work and word.17 Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.17 may he encourage and strengthen you to do and say everything that is good.17 comfort your hearts and establish you in every good work and word.17 encourage your hearts, and establish you in every good work and word.
